Five things to take care of to increase your YouTube Video views:
1. Catchy/Interesting Titles
Examples of compelling / catchy titles are:
- How to …
- How I … (e.g. How I became a Millionaire)
- Secrets of … (e.g. secret to closing more sales)
- Warning title … (e.g. don’t start a business before you start a business)
- Outcome driven title … (e.g. Most dangerous animals in the world)
2. Add a Trailer to the channel
Trailer can have information like
- My name is ….
- I am a … traveler blogger etc.
- When you subscribe to my channel you will get
- How often do you upload the video
- Tell them what you want them to do … i.e. you tell them to subscribe and hit the bell
3. Make videos for your fans/audience and not for yourself
- Don’t create the content because you like
- Create the content that your audience will like
4. Have a Call to Action (CTA) in the video
- Tell your viewers to subscribe your channel
- do it at the start or
- do it in the middle or
- do it at the end or
- But DON’T overdo it
5. Long term consistency better than short term intensity
- Be patient and add videos consistently and not a lot of video at one time and then a long break.
- Don’t give up if there are lesser views and subscribers initially
- Post videos on regular interval
